Cleaning

Stubbe has had an ultramodern cleaning room with 3 bays since 2005, which is ideally situated along the A20 and A12. The installation delivered by the company, Groninger, is a well-tested, high quality concept allowing a European Cleaning Document (ECD) to be issued after the cleaning. The use of the ECD is exclusive to tank cleaning companies that have undergone an SQAS audit and possessing ATCN certification.

Water purification system
The waste water from the cleaning process is collected in our own hypermodern water purification system, consisting of a combination of a Physical/Chemical Separation Installation and a biological component, allowing the products to be rinsed to be cleaned on a large scale. Thorough consultations over the years with the company Ashland have allowed us to determine the chemicals needed to efficiently clean the waste water. Sometimes it is necessary to modify the type and quantity of chemicals in line with changes to the waste water stream. This enables us to return clean water back into the sewerage system in a responsible manner. The whole process is, of course, under the supervision of the Hoogheemraadschap – the regional water board – to whom we send our water analyses.
