Container storage

The potential expansion of the storage tanks had already been considered during the new building work carried out on our site in 2005. The decision was taken last year and this ambitious plan is being realised from September 2010. There are eight tanks on our site each with a net capacity of 192,000 litres. The tanks are able to work in isolation, and include heating spirals, as well as offering the option of mixing products. There is also the option available to provide a nitrogen cover across the product if required, in order to prevent air contamination. The ATEX safety regulations have also been taken into consideration within the statutory framework and the instruments have been setup to allow us, if we wish, to store class 3, 8 and 9 products in the future.

 

These investments mean that Stubbe is able to offer an even more complete service to clients covering the entire logistics chain.
