Partnership between Stubbe and Zijderlaan

Partnership is a hot in the world of transport and logistics. The partnership between Stubbe BV in Gouda and Zijderlan BV in Stolwijk is a very practical example of this concept. We have been working together for more than ten years on the supplying, filling, storing and distributing of oils and fats in vats and industrial bulk containers (IBCs). This partnership allows us to offer a complete line in service provisions, which is of great interest to our joint customers.

Zijderlaan warehousing
The transport frim Zijderlaan is a family concern established in 1937 and a prominent presence in Stolwijk. The extensive complex can be seen along the N207 route, which has developed over the course of the years on the Nijverheidsweg. In addition, to providing a home base for 140 lorry units, including offices and the company's technical service and cleaning unit, there is also 15,000 m2 warehousing available. The company has a 2nd site in Steenbergen, North Brabant, which currently has a 7500 m2 warehouse space. This site is fully equipped for warehousing packaged sugar, including a temperature control to keep the products in an optimal condition. Zijderlaan intends to increase its warehouse activities in Steenbergen and has recently acquired a 10,000 m2 industrial site opposite the existing site with this strategy in mind. Zijderlaan uses its own warehouse management system, allowing the goods stream to be traced and tracked in real-time. Zijderlaan also intends to focus its logistics activities on a broader trajectory within the logistics chain. The partnership with Stubbe fits perfectly within this philosophy, as both parties fully cover the logistics chain from manufacturer to end user.
