Transport, Container storage and Custom depot handling

Stubbe today is a total logistics service supplier with a core business involving the transport of technical oils and vegetable/animal based oils, as well as ADR-related goods.

 

The planning department plays a very crucial role in the guidance of transport and are the first point of contact for all truck drivers. The entire chain from picking up the freight from customs (incl. the associated documentation), physical transport, storage on location in Gouda, heating, and eventual transport to the end user.

 

Stubbe has 12 (ADR-) trucks, 50 tank trailers, 45 RVS tank containers en 40 tank chassis (varying between 20, 30 and 40 ft) and is covering the entire Benelux. On the premises at Gouwestroom in Gouda there is a storage capacity of about 72 x 20ft containers and about 45 IBCs.

 

Since 1 June 2008 Stubbe has officially been acknowledged as a Custom's depot. This means that payment of import duties can be postponed until a destination has been determined. At that point the liquids can then be immediately transported in the right quantities and containers, easily saving hundreds of euros.
